It started with a sketch in 2016
“There's a game in Germany called Pit Pat. It's basically mini golf you play with a cue, and it's been around for 50 years, but it lives outside, on concrete, in public parks. I kept thinking it could be so much better indoors.
I made the first sketches in 2016: felt instead of concrete so the ball rolls true, and every hole its own little world. I started building the first prototype in 2018, and it took three years of building, breaking and rebuilding before the first tables opened at the Flower Bowl. These days the best bit is still standing in the middle of the room, watching a group go crazy when someone banks one in off the side.”
